 Spirit Night and Day Continues for FIIZ BOGO

In partnership with the local FIIZ of Santaquin, OHE's PTA is offering BOGO free drink cards available for purchase on the PTA Givebacks website. In contrast to traditional spirit nights held with other local eateries, this Spirit Night will run from January 27 through February 7. As with traditional spirits nights, a percentage of the proceeds from purchases made during this time will be kicked back to our PTA to use for the many events and activities we sponsor for the students at our school. Please consider purchasing a BOGO card (or two or three; they make great gifts)!


Spirit Fridays

We continue to encourage students to wear their OHE shirts or colors (maroon and gray) each Friday to school. The class with the highest percentage of students sporting this get-up is awarded a weekly treat/trinket. And at the end of the semester, the class that won most often throughout the semester is awarded a pizza or ice cream party! Congrats to Mrs. Burr's class for winning last semester!

We Need YOU in Our PTA

We're still looking for volunteers to help our PTA in multiple capacities next year (2025/2026 school year). If you are interested in learning more about volunteering as an executive board member (president, treasurer, secretary) or in volunteering as a chairperson (heading one event/activity during the school year such as Field Day, one of the SEP luncheons, or the Book Fair to name a few), please contact Rachel Wells at 435-229-8132.

PTA Monthly Meetings

And if you ever just want to get a feel for what PTA is, come to our monthly meetings. We hold them on the first Monday of each month at 10:45 AM. Just go in the front office and the secretaries can show you where we're meeting that month.

We have a wide variety of activities coming our way as the school year continues. Below is a list of important dates to remember:

  • SEPs and Scholastic Book Fair: March 12 and 13, 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Teacher Appreciation Week: May 5 through May 9
  • Field Day: May 20
